Joan Gerkin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2021, at the age of 88, Joan Gerkin of Orleans, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Olan Strange and Ruth B. Strange (Boone); her husband Franklin Gerkin; her sons, Lee W. Gerkin (Linda) of Orleans and Larry G. Gerkin (Joan) of Westport, IN; her brother Dale Strange of Indianapolis, IN; and her grandchildren, Mac, Charlie, Jay, Stewart and Heidi Jo. She was also cherished by fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
