He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cletis Patton and Alice Marie Patton (Tincher); and his siblings, Robert, Ivan, Marvin, Roger Patton and Connie Godbey.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Patton of Orleans; his grandchildren, Jessica, Zachary, Austin and Alliey; his siblings, Jeannie McCabe (Ronnie) of Paoli, Sandra Blout of Mitchell, Bonnie Doan (Milt) of Hardinsburg, Ronald "Dake" Patton (Cindy) of Palmyra and Terry Patton of Livonia; and his sister-in-law Betty Patton of Campbellsburg. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
