She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Jennings and Hildred May Chastain (Cosby); her daughter Kristin Emily Hardman; and her sister Rowena Hall. She is survived by: her husband John Phillip Hardman; her daughters, Heather Johnson (Paul), Holly Johnston (Chris) and Hillari Yentz; her grandchildren, Reid, Rhett, Rachel Johnson, Dane, Delaney Johnston, Conner (Jessica), Tanner, Adler and Izabella Yentz; her great grandchildren, Thea, Beth and Hadli Yentz; and her sisters, Jane Huffman, Mona LaFon and Rachel Henderson.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Orleans United Methodist Church in memory of Helen Hardman.
