He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm J Burton and Rowann Burton (Holsapple); his wife Wanda June Tolbert; and his son Leslie Joe Burton. He is survived by: his children, Valarie Jean Dreusicke (Dave) and Alan J Burton (Rebecca Lodmell); and his great grandchildren, J. Burton Ream, Ella Ream, Peyten VanMeter (Lincoln), Harrison Burton, Jagger Burton, Nikki Hammond, Josie Mc Farland, Landon Moon, Ben Stroud, Ella Stroud and Vera Holt.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (680 W Jefferson St, Orleans, IN 47452).
