It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Sergent of Orleans, Indiana, born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Sergent and Mattie Sergent (Lucas); and his siblings, Vernon, Philip of Jimmy, R. J., Eugene Sergent, Brenda Porter, Linda Hall and Glenda Sergent.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sergent (Balog) of Orleans; his children, Tracy Wilder (Mark) of Paoli, Amanda Albarez of French Lick, Kristen Elliott of Paoli, Melissa Wilson (Chuck) of Paoli and Matthew Sergent (Mandy) of Paoli; his stepchildren, Carol Shipman (Dicky) of Paoli, Darlene Haley (Michael Pinnick) of Paoli and Joe Haley (Jennifer) of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Freda Underhill of French Lick, Rita Lawrence of Huntingburg, Jesse Sergent of Shoals, Jay Sergent of Plainville, Rick Sergent of Loogootee and Randall Sergent of West Baden.
