He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy Payne and Lucy Mae Payne (Green); and his brother Hershal Payne. He is survived by: his wife Terry Payne (Kroushaur) of Orleans; his children, Carly Payne of Gruetli Laager, TN, Shannon Fravel (Doug) of New Salsberry, IN, Jason Payne of Gruetli Laager, TN, Jared Payne (Lynn) of Gruetli Laager, TN and Tosha Grassman (Andrew) of Paoli; and his siblings, Kenny Payne, Rachel Burnett, Jewell Wells and Charles Payne. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
