He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Sharr and Pearl Sharr (Kirk); his wife Helen Wray; and his siblings, Jim, Harold, Bernice Ritter, Norma Bartlett, Barbera Bartlett and Ruby Cracraft.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Skillman (Stanley) of Oolitic and Jane Grissom (Mike) of Oolitic; his grandchildren, Brian Skillman (Trish), Mandy Green (Chris), Kimberly Lanham (Matt) and John Grissom; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Green, Harper Skillman, Stella Lanham and Christian Skillman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
