He was predeceased by: his siblings, Warren, Walter and Wendell. He is survived by: his parent Isaac M. Nikirk; his spouse Linda Hutsell; his children, Jeff Nikirk (Moira) of Bedford, Linnea Pennycuff (Steven) of Oolitic, Larissa Jerke (Scott) of Sellersburg, IN and Seth Nikirk (Amy) of Oolitic; and his grandchildren, Miley, Macy, Luke, Lynlee, Lakan, Saxton, Lorelei, Saban, Annabelle and Savannah.
