He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Luers and Elmer Luers; and his granddaughter Katelyn Luers. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Amberger; and his children, Debra Crain (Randy) of Hamburg, Ron Luers (Connie) of Oldenburg, Kevin Luers (Wanda) of Sunman, Scott Luers (Lori) of Batesville and Todd Luers (Heather) of Batesville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Phi Beta Sorority Cancer Research Fund or the Holy Family Capital Improvement Fund.
