He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Smallwood (Smith) and Shelby Smallwood; and his brothers, Rufus and Ernie Smallwood. He is survived by: his wife Esther M. Smallwood (Griffin) of Oldenburg; his sisters, Flossie Jarrett of Oldenburg, Janet Littleton of Olive Hill, KY and Kathy Roberts (Daniel) of Oldenburg; and his sister-in-law Vickie Smallwood of Laurel.
