He is survived by: his brothers, Ronald of Oldenburg, Robert of Oldenburg, Edward of Oldenburg and Richard Obermeyer (Patricia) of Oldenburg; and his sister-in-law Jeanie Obermeyer of Oldenburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
