He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Murray and Ralph Murray; and his sister Kay Rozanski. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughters, Kristen of Oldenburg, Logan of Oldenburg, Allison of Oldenburg and Meaghann of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Bill Murray of Lawrenceburg, Barb Lee of Milan, Janet Brower of Holton and Sue Herron of Bonita Springs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to go towards the Kristen, Logan, and Allison Murray College Fund.
