Anna Mae Raver Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Mae Raver of Oldenburg, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester and Irene; her husband Elmer F. Raver; her stepmother Edith Carr Vogel; her siblings, Elizabeth Bridges (Jerry), Charles Vogel (Beverly) and Bob Vogel; her brother-in-law William Baurley; her stepbrother David Carr; and her brothers-in-law, Dale Gerth and Mark Tempest.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Raver of Batesville, Elaine Raver of Oldenburg, Theresa Williams (Andy) of Greensburg, Monica Livers (John) of Oldenburg, Mary Mulcahy (Steve) of Newburgh, Indiana, Carl Raver of Oldenburg and Joe Raver (Julie) of Oldenburg; her siblings, Kathlene Baurley of North Vernon, Jeanette Heckman (Dick) of Plainfield, Marie Laymon (Don) of Lexington, Indiana, Tom Vogel (Louise) of North Vernon, Paul Vogel (Pam) of North Vernon and Leonard Vogel (Carol) of New Albany, Indiana; her sister-in-law Pauline Vogel of Commiskey, Indiana; and her stepsiblings, Coleen Gerth of Seymour, Maria Tempest of Scottsburg, Joyce Vogel (Gilbert) of North Vernon and Henry Carr (Patty) of North Vernon. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:40 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (151 W George St, Batesville, IN 47006). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Family Church (3027 Pearl St, Oldenburg, IN 47036).
