She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldus Chestnut and Vivian Ruth Chestnut (Kirk); her husband Elmer Chestnut; and her brother Lowell 'Bood' Chestnut. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph A. Chestnut (Barbara) of Odon, Benjamin R. Chestnut (Becky) of Odon and Ken Chestnut (Lisa) of Loogootee; her grandchildren, Jessica Miller (Chris), Joshua Chestnut (Emily), Daniel Chestnut (Missy), Sarah Chestnut, Annie Wintergerst (Adam), Krystal Chestnut, Ruby Chestnut, Elle Chestnut, Josiah Chestnut and Derek Chestnut; her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Jackson, Lincoln Wintergerst, Clara Miller, Zoe, Zabrina Chestnut and Kinze Chestnut; and her sisters, Vivian A. Chestnut of Bloomington, Loretta K. Byrer of Odon and Vonda French of Terre Haute.
