Katie Lengacher Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Lengacher of Odon, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wagler and Adel Wagler (Graber); her husband Edwin Lengacher; her granddaughter Emily Lengacher; her great grandchild Hannah Wittmer; and her siblings, Rosie Raber (John) and Amos Wagler.
She is survived by: her children, Roman Lengacher (Janice) of Cannelburg, Randall Lengacher (Katie) of Odon, Darrel Lengacher (Dorothy) of Loogootee, Joyce Wittmer (Marvin) of Odon, Nathan Lengacher (Jennifer) of Loogootee, Barbara Jean Berry (Ronnie) of Loogootee and Edwin Jay Lengacher (Christina) of Loogootee; and her sisters, Lydia Ann Schwartz (late Louis Wagler), Esther Graber (Ezra), Fannie Knepp (Eli), Louise Hunter Ruth Wagler (late Mike) and Marilyn Wagler (Levi).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Daviess County Produce Building (9084 County Rd 550 N, Montgomery, IN 47558).
