With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ralph Cummings Jr. of Odon, Indiana, born in Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. John R. Cummings Sr. of Odon, IN and Ruth Marcella Cummings (Young) of Dugger, Indiana.; and his sister Rowena Lankford. He is survived by: his sons, John Ralph III and Matthew Warren (Danielle); his wife Nancy Cassaday; his grandchildren, Madison, Emma, Ethan, Jasmine and Sage; his nieces, Kendal and Kiersten; and also Denny Young.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church (500 Lincoln Dr, Bloomfield, IN 47424).
