He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Cook and Clova Cook (Flake); his wife Edna Cook; his granddaughter Erin; his daughter Diana Skinner; and his siblings, Mary, Patricia, Ruth, Dorothy, Wilburn, Max, Marvin, Pete, Jim, Jack, Joe and Herschel.
He is survived by: his children, Jane Carter (Jim) and Mike Cook (Karen); his grandchildren, Aaron Carter, Ryan Carter, Dustin Carter, Darren Carter, Jeremy Cook, Ben Cook, Tara Richeson and Josh; and his stepgrandsons, Jon Skinner and Jeremy Skinner.
