She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertrand Goad and Annabell Goad (Pilk); her husband Charles Thompson; and her siblings, Phyllis Padgett, Butch, Lloyd and Larry Goad.
She is survived by: her daughter Carla Porter (Bruce) of Switz City; her grandchildren, Charles Porter (Kimberly) of Newberry and Jennifer Hancock (Luke) of Sandborn; her great grandchildren, Jeffrie Porter, Casey Porter, Ruby Hancock, Wesley Porter and Annie Hancock; and her sisters, Peggy Thompson (Vernon) of Springville and Sheryl McDaniel of Linton.
