She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward and Delores Evelyn "Barnett" Southard; her husband Lloyd Bateman; and her siblings, Charlene Combs, Shelby Southard, Nancy Crane, Charles Edward Southard Jr., Stephen Southard and Jimmy Southard.
