He is survived by: his wife Lena Swartzentruber (Miller); his children, Terry Swartzentruber (Darla), Bob Swartzentruber (Raylene), Norman Swartzentruber (Fran) and Theresa Wittmer (Nelson) of Odon; his grandchildren, Cory Swartzentruber (Leslie), Cameron Swartzentruber (Ashley), Chalee Yoder (Anthony), Gabriel Swartzentruber (Abbie), Alicia Wagler (Derek), Caleb Swartzentruber (Mallory), Isaiah Swartzentruber (Jaylyn), Elisha Swartzentruber, Lucas Swartzentruber (Karlee), Isaac Swartzentruber (Kayla), Maggie Robertson (Tye), Andrew Swartzentruber, Brooke Wagler (Logan), Kendall Wittmer (Jaycee) and Alex Wittmer (Cheyenne); his siblings, Alvin Swartzentruber (Rose), Glen Swartzentruber (Dorothy), Aaron Swartzentruber (Linda), Kate Gingerich (Howard) and Ruth Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Swartzentruber and Simon Knepp. He is also survived by thirty-three great grandchildren.
