She was predeceased by: her father Forrest DeSchamp; her husband Don Abrams; her siblings, Wanda Mae DeSchamp, Mary Johnson and Jon DeSchamp; and her son-in-law Terry Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Abrams of Freelandville, Rick Abrams (Lisa) of Terre Haute, Mike Abrams (Leslie) of Vincennes, Theresa Brown (Jack) of Staunton and Greg Abrams (Pam) of Oaktown; her siblings, Bruce DeSchamp of Oaktown, Carolyn McCarter of Oaktown, Sharon Simpson (Don) of Oaktown and David DeSchamp (Marsha) of Oakland City; and her brother-in-law Jim Abrams of Terre Haute. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
