He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur Wilson and Helen Bernice Ashley (Holt); his former wife Patricia Jane West of Bicknell; his wife Patty Jane; his grandchildren, Amanda York (Tyler) of Bridgeport, Sara Worstell (Luke) of Vincennes, Matthew Ashley (Diana Powell) of Oaktown, Natalie Keating (CJ) of Plainfeld, Nathan Ashley (Kylea) of Vincennes and Nevin Ashley (Ashley) of St. Wendel; his great grandchildren, Eastyn, Elivya York, Grace, Gretchynn, Gabriella, Gwynneth Worstell, Averie, Aubrie Keating, Mattilynn, Caroline Ashley, Gaige and Aiden Ashley; and his sister Fava Jean Johanningsmeier (Paul).
