It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucinda Lou Slater-Archer in Oaktown, Indiana, born in Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Slater and Mildred Slater (Briner); her half-sister Nancy Wells; her niece Christy Chambers; and her nephew Danny Burgess.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Archer of Oaktown; her children, Melody Combs of Vincennes, Amber Combs (Philip) of Francisco, IN and Michael Combs; her stepdaughter Heather Schwartz of Mentor, OH; and her sisters, Kay Slayton of Vincennes and Virginia Lacey of Vincennes. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
