With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Harris of Oakland City, Indiana, born in Monroe City, Indiana, who passed away on June 15, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Alonzo Yates and Bethel McGary Yates Frost; her husband George Harris; and her siblings, Alonzo Yates, Charles Yates, Jack Frost, Mary Georges and Martha Silke.
She is survived by: her children, Georgia Wilkinson (Jack) of Newburgh and Larry Harris (Cynthia) of Oakland City; her grandchildren, Jack Wilkinson, Nicki Caniff (Colt), Greg Wilkinson (Natalie), Andrea Butcher (Robert) and Haley Broadway (Jon); her great grandchildren, Chloe Bartley, Triston Wilkinson, Paxon Bartley, Chase Wilkinson, Mayson Moore, Parker Conder, Harper, Hudson Holt, Sophie and Alex Butcher; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Aigner and Judy Parke.
