He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ruppel and Annis Ruppel (Carie); and his siblings, Bill Ruppel, Tom Ruppel, Jim Ruppel, Geraldine Westfall and Rose Cardinal.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Ruppel; his children, Rob Ruppel (Gena Lynn), Ken Ruppel Ruppel (Melanie) of Petersburg, IN, Jerry Dale Ruppel of Stendal, IN and Margie Ruppel of Lexington, KY.; and his siblings, Mike Ruppel of Linton, IN, Barbara Lindsay, Pat Elkins of Vincennes, IN. and Nancy Carter of Monroe City, IN.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 mandates from Gov. Holcomb and CDC social distancing Is still observed with limitation 25 people for attendance to all visitation and services. Face masks are required by state mandate upon entering the church.
