He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Crooks and Mary U. Crooks (Fella); his brother Elvis "Gene" Crooks; and his wife Virginia Crooks. He is survived by: his children, Freddie Lynnette Roach of Princeton, IN, Stephen Guy Crooks (Gina) of Florida, Thomas Lee Crooks (Terry) of Oakland City, IN, Jeffery Eugene Crooks of Spurgeon, IN, Douglas Edward Crooks (Mary) of Bloomington, IN and Kenneth Wayne Crooks of Evansville, IN.; and his sisters, Maxine Brown of Paoli, IN and Betty Cross of Ft. Worth, TX.. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great- Great Grandchildren.
Due to new Covid-19 mandates from Gov. Holcomb and CDC social distancing Is still observed with the maximum of 50 people for attendance to all visitation and services. Face mask are required by state mandate upon entering the chapel.
