Duard Edwards Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2023, at the age of 95, Duard Edwards of Oakland City, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fines Edwards and Marie Edwards (Robling); his sisters, Margaret Callis Mason, Mildred Osborne and Melva Ott; and his sister-in-law Patricia Grimm.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Edwards (Thomas); and his children, Christina McKannan (Jerry) of Francisco, Duard "Rocky" Edwards (Nancy) of Oakland City, Victoria L. Whitehouse (Jimmy) of Francisco, Lisa Carpenter Poseyville (Curly), Charlotte Hensley of Princeton, Becki Penner (Kerry) of Owensville, Dewayne "Cob" Edwards (Laura) of Oakland City, Sara Freudenberg (Michael) of Oakland City and David Edwards (Teresa) of Oakland City. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and 16 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be donated to the Francisco Church of the Nazarene for the children's playground, 304 S. Cross St., Francisco, IN 47649.
