It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy P. Georges of Oakland City, Indiana, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Opal and John Arvil Maikranz; her son Alan Bennett; and her son-in-law Jim Vickers. She is survived by: her husband Charles Georges; and her children, Terry Bennett (Linda), Darlene Wright (Steve), Greg Bennett, Janelle Bennett and Michelle Vickers. She is also survived by 2 brothers; a sister; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
