She was predeceased by: her mother Carlene Vielweber. She is survived by: her husband Cory Whitehead; her children, Jolene Whitehead and Bruce Whitehead (Rachel); her grandchildren, Vander, Homer and Hudson; and her siblings, Yul Venters and Mary Friedman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel (226 E Washington St, Oakland City, IN 47660). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a meal at a small, unassuming restaurant in her honor, raising a glass to a woman who always found beauty in the little things.
