He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Fadden); his brother Patrick O'Meara of Indiana University; his children, Maria, Timothy, Bridget (Hoban), Jeannie, Katy and Eileen; his brother Daniel; his sister-in-law Lorraine; his niece Suzanne; his friend Kathleen Cannon; and also Vice President Emeritus of Indiana University. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
