He is survived by: his spouse Maria Furtado (Vizina); his parent Maria Furtado; his daughter Eduarda Motta; and his siblings, Maria Macedo and Mario Furtado. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
