It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Coulter in Northwest, Indiana, born in Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Coulter and Mildred Coulter (Sedgwick); his brothers-in-law, Dwight Conway and David Bos; his uncle Marvin Sedgwick; and his aunts, Kathryn Coulter and Esther Sedgwick.
He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Phillips of LaPorte; his daughter Tracey Martin (Joseph) of Carmel, IN; his former wife Barbara Wheeler of LaPorte; his son Zach Coulter (Courtney) of LaPorte; his stepdaughter Brandi Tanger of Florence, Italy; his grandchildren, Paul Martin (Brooke) of Westfield, IN, Michael Martin of Carmel, IN, Kathleen Schwartz (Patrick) of Westfield, IN, Erin Martin of Carmel, IN and Zoey Davis of LaPorte; his great grandchildren, Claire and Sophie Martin of Westfield, IN; his sisters, Diane Conway of Brownsburg, IN, Janet Jones (Knoefel) of Porter Beach, IN, Barbara Coats (Bill) of Oak Park, IL and Peggy Bos of Fort Myers, FL; and his cousin Carol Thorsen (Mike) of Victoria, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic and safety of others, anyone attending the visitation will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six feet.
