She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Nicholson and Mary Nicholson (Mitchell); her husband Richard Zapala; her grandchildren, Kaylee Zapala (Chris K.), Mark Burklow (Nicole), Alexandria Zapala McCallum (Kyle), Kailey McMahan, Tara Zapala, Jordyn Zapala, Kyria Zapala, Tiffany Smiley (Josh) and CJ Hmurovic; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Ahnamarie, Riley, Rylan, Liam, Easton, Mason, Everly and Phillip.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Zapala, Richard Zapala Jr. (Kim H.) and Mark Zapala; and her siblings, Joanne Litzsinger, Beverly Martin (Jim) and Phyllis Goldberg.
