With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcella Gercken of Northwest, Indiana, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on April 11, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rollin M. Schahfer and Nema I. Schahfer; and her husband Donald Jacob Gercken. She is survived by: her foster sister Dr. Premvadee Tanlamai of Boston, MA.; her foster son Paibul Ratanasirintrawoot (Paul Linn) of Honolulu, HI; and her siblings-in-law, Clyde Gercken (Arlene) of Saint John, IN. and Norma Cathcart (Neil) of Modesto, CA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, Memorials may be made in Marcella's name to Shriners Hospital for Children.
