It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joyce Covert of Northwest, Indiana, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 100, on December 20, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Davison and May Davison (Rawling); her husband Maxwell F. Covert; her grandson Eric Maxwell Harger; her sister Gladys Wendt; and her son-in-law Bill DuBois.
She is survived by: her children, Judith DuBois of Mesa, Patricia Powell (Jim) of Frisco, Cynthia Harger (Jim) of Bryan, Tula, Maja and Yuko; her grandchildren, Frank DuBois (Margi), Becky Danbury, Chad Powell, J. J. Powell (Christy), Nicole Harger, Jared Harger and Brianna Pool (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Tyler Dubois, Colby, Shelby, Kendall Danbury, Wyatt, Penny Powell and Crosby Pool.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation or services.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to the Max F. and Joyce Covert Scholarship Fund at Northwest State Community College.
