He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Allen and Arlene Allen; and his brother David Allen. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Leslie Diane Koch (David) and Mark Scott Allen (Sherry); his grandson Anthony David Koch; his siblings-in-law, Louise Allen and Bill Howarth (Debbie); his pet Penny; and also Johnny Mathis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, John requests that donations be made to the Northwest Humane Society.
