Thompson in Northwest, Indiana, born in Kingman, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoy W. Thompson and Edna L. Thompson (Hess); his former wife Dolly Jacobs; his son David Jr.; and his siblings, Scott, Perry and Sharon West.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ketcham of Knox; his daughters, Barbara Johanan (Phil) of Knox and Pamla J. Starkey (John) of Knox; his grandchildren, Jason Thompson (Shannon) of Knox, David Starkey (Misty) of Knox, Adina Awald (Jeremy) of Koontz Lake, Heather Tincau (Bobby) of Tennessee and Olivia Moritz (Kevin) of Tennessee; and his siblings, Ronald Thompson of Dyer, Lon Thompson of Ober and Nancy Goble of Hamlet. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
