He was predeceased by: his father Leon Schuler; his children, Susan, Sara Schuler and Scott Schuler; his brother Shawn Schuler; his stepparents, Marvin Ansbro and Bunny Schuler; and his stepbrother Craig Ansbro.
He is survived by: his mother Elaine Schuler (Etchison) of Hobart, IN; his children, Angela Kline (Matthew) of Elkhart, Crystal Schuler (Ryan Head) of Warsaw and Steven Schuler (Bethany) of Cincinnati, OH; his siblings, Becky Brehmer of Hobart, Laura Larimore of Wheeler, IN, Rhonda Wellsandt (Billy) of Idaho, Craig Schuler of Plymouth and Christopher Schuler of Angola; and his stepsisters, Leora Maynard (Bill) of Atlanta, GA, Brenda Getling (Mike) of Lake Village, IN and Naomi Irvine (Mike) of Whiting, IN.. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren.
