With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Mort of North Webster, Indiana, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Donna's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Donna has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sleighter and Maxine Sleighter (Roberts); her former husband Herbert Fites; her siblings, Jack Sleighter and Agnes Brown; and her granddaughter Angela.
She is survived by: her children, Natalie Ross (Dave) and Jeffrey Fites; her stepdaughters, Kandi Knight and Kelli Yoder (Lawrence); and her brother Paul Sleighter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home (7458 E 1000 N, Syracuse, IN 46567). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
