Swieringa of North Webster, Indiana, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius S. and Virginia Swieringa Sr. (DeYoung); and his siblings, Patsy Klootwyk, Charles and Robert Swieringa.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Swieringa of North Webster; his children, Thomas Swieringa (Monica) of Celina, OH, Craig Swieringa (Andrea Cook) of Chicago, IL and Colleen Lindsay (Jesse) of Cedar Lake, IN; his grandchildren, Raina, Shannon and Trevor; his sister Peggy Mickles of Portage, IN; his brother-in-law Wayne Klootwyk (Sharon) of North Judson, IN; his brother Jim Swieringa (Laura) of Newnan, GA; and his sister-in-law Debbie Swieringa of Tinley Park, IL..
