We bid farewell to William Mac Tungate Sr. of North Vernon, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 25, 2024 at the age of 79. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Tungate and Nannie Tungate (Wilkerson); his daughters, Tonia Johnson and Angela Tungate; his siblings, Lee, Marvin, Charles Tungate and Betty Amburgey; and his grandson Dylan LaFollette.
He is survived by: his children, William Mac "Bill" Tungate Jr. (Betty) of Seymour and Kim LaFollette (Bill) of Butlerville; his girlfriend Lori Tungate of Seymour; his siblings, Everett Tungate of Shirley, David Tungate of Westport, Wanell Mueller of Greensburg, Dorothy Miller (Larry) of Zenas, Dorene Elliott of North Vernon, Mary Jane Smith (Mitchell) of Westport and Charlene Melton of Batesville; and his grandchildren, Jaime Patterson of North Vernon, Jennifer Gunter (Adam) of Versailles, Caleb LaFollette (Lacey) of Butlerville, Kaylena Tungate of Seymour, Charlie Tungate of Terre Haute, Reba Johnson of Terre Haute, Jacob Ritchie of Florida, Ashlee Tungate and Kylee Tungate of Seymour. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in honor of William through the funeral home to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
