He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Patterson (Sparks); his children, Rick Patterson (Barb) of North Vernon and Phyllis Martin (Gary) of Zenas; his grandchildren, Chad Martin (Dawn) of Zenas, Carrie Roscoe (Jon) of Zenas, Todd Patterson (Melissa) of North Vernon and Trevor Patterson (Stacey) of North Vernon; and his great grandchildren, Austin Roscoe of Zenas, McKenna Roscoe of Zenas, Matlyn Martin of Zenas, Luke Martin of Zenas, Nicholas Patterson of North Vernon, Gracie Patterson of North Vernon, Abigail Patterson of North Vernon, Darrell Patterson of North Vernon and Lilie Patterson of North Vernon.
