He is survived by: his wife Eva Ann Smith; his children, Candace Miller (Steve) of Niceville, Larry Chilman (Karen) of Commiskey and Jerry Chilman (Kim) of Commiskey; his siblings, Kenneth Chilman (Eunice) of Cobden, Marlo Chilman (Alice) of Washington and Jane Hamblen (Jim) of North Vernon; his grandchildren, Donnie Miller (Linda) of North Vernon, Lauren Kirchner (Alex) of North Vernon, Bailee Taylor (Thomas) of North Vernon, Eddie Miller (Rachel) of Freeport, David Miller of Freeport, Logan Chilman (Lauren) of Commiskey, Linnea Chilman of Commiskey and Luke Chilman of Osgood; and his great grandchild Beau Franklin Kirchner of North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Wayne through the funeral home to the hospice of the donor's choice or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
