He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Roy and Elizabeth Roy (Black); his spouse Sue Ann Roy (Porter); and his siblings, Archie Roy, Garvis Roy, Cindy Mulford and Diane Soria.
He is survived by: his sons, Walter Roy Jr. of Noblesville and Michael Roy of North Vernon; his siblings, Roscoe Roy (Sonya) of Texas, Dallas Roy, Clarence Roy, Shirley Fultz (Sam) of Texas, Edna Tefteller (Ronald) of Texas, Aline Harris (Walter) of Texas, Nina Whitlock of Texas, Sherry Tye of Texas, Velma Tyler (Ceburn) of North Vernon and Wanda Reynolds (Ray) of Noblesville; and his grandchildren, Megan Marie Roy of North Vernon and Shane Roy of Noblesville.
