It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Clarkson-Mason (North Vernon, Indiana), born in Ukiah, California, who passed away on July 26, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Olmstead and Nellie Olmstead (Lownes); her former husband Francis Clarkson; her husband Ronald C. "Skip" Mason Sr.; her daughter Belinda Clarkson; and her grandson Roger Cumberworth Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Stanley Ray Clarkson of North Vernon, Neysa Cumberworth of North Vernon and Colleen Gatewood (Daniel) of Westport; and her grandchildren, Stacey Harsh (Dayna), Casey Harsh (Tammy), Troy Harsh (Kattie), Kaleigh Luedeman (Brandon), Valerie Hardison (Dean), Vanessa Gatewood, Shawn Gatewood (Sharon), Josh Gatewood (Rebecca), Heather Clarkson, John Clarkson (Megan), Samantha Clarkson and Maria Clarkson. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in honor of Virginia through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County.
