It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Lunsford (North Vernon, Indiana), born in Anderson, Indiana, who passed away on May 24, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Beard and Gladys Beard (Smith); her husband Melvin Lunsford; and her sisters, Ruth Lamb and Imogene Lamb.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Lunsford (Linda) of North Vernon, Jeff Lunsford of North Vernon, Mark Lunsford (Terri) of Columbus, Lisa Elzea (Matt) of Columbus and Leslie Wilson (Vince Holley) of North Vernon; and her sister Dessie Wren of Palmetto, Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Velma to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
