With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven D. Hardwick of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven D. Hardwick to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hardwick and Pearl Hardwick (Hammond); and his wife Paula Hardwick. He is survived by: his children, Roger Hardwick of Frost Proof, FL, Tammy Swindall of North Vernon and Tonya Pearson of North Vernon; his siblings, Mary Hall of North Vernon, Diane Engleking of Reddington, IN and Dennis Hardwick of North Vernon; and his grandchildren, Rachel Johnston, Eddie Swindall III, Kevin Swindall, Samantha Barnes and Joshua Updike. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sawyer - Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service (115 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations can be made through the funeral home to the Hayden Museum.
