It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Jewell of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Carl" Burchett and Betty Burchett (Spicer); and her sister Debbie Burchett. She is survived by: her children, Brent Jewell (Melissa) of North Vernon and Melissa McCutchen (Mike) of Milton, Kentucky; her close friend James Jewell of North Vernon; her brothers, Mike Burchett (Betsy), Steve Burchett (Laura) and Gary Burchett (Trish); and her grandchildren, Brittany Jewell of North Vernon, Bethany Jewell of North Vernon, Blake Jewell of North Vernon, Brooklynn Jewell of North Vernon, Meadow Jewell of North Vernon, Maci Jewell of North Vernon, Madison Jewell of North Vernon and Lucas McCutchen of Milton, Kentucky..
