It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Watson Jr. of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Sanford, Florida, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Joe Watson Sr. and Ida Watson (Spivey); and his siblings, Larry, Terry Watson and Helen Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Green; his children, Sam Joe Watson III of Chicago, Illinois and Lisa Reynolds (Caleb) of North Vernon; his brother Paul Watson (Diane) of Sanford, Florida; his granddaughters, Anna Reynolds of North Vernon and Marina Reynolds of North Vernon; and also Georgia.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Joe to the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.
