He was predeceased by: his father Louis Derringer. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Derringer (Mays) of North Vernon; his sons, Nathaniel Derringer (Erika Coriaty) of North Vernon and Justin Derringer of Virginia; his stepdaughter Cathy Vincent of Virginia; his siblings, Tammy Yocum of Vevay and Randy Derringer; and his grandchildren, Charles, Xander and Joleah.
